There are two main cooling methods for laser marking machines, one is water cooling and the other is air cooling. Generally, equipment with higher laser power (above 50W) and UV laser marking require water cooling; on the contrary, equipment with low laser power (basically no more than 50W) uses air cooling.

The water chiller is used for water cooling, which is very important for improving the working accuracy of the laser and ensuring the normal operation of the laser. However, in the daily use of the chiller, improper maintenance will cause some minor failures and even damage the chiller. Therefore, it is very necessary to understand some operating precautions related to the chiller. Foshan Fulan Laser Collection has integrated some precautions for the operation of the chiller used in the laser marking machine. Let me share with you below:

1. Chilled water pumps cannot be operated when there is no water in the water tank; (Some models have water level protection in the water tank. When the water level is too low or there is no water in the water tank, the water pump will automatically stop running and display the water level fault code and alarm. )

2. Please try to avoid continuous switching of the operating switch.

3. When the chilled water temperature reaches the set temperature, the compressor will automatically stop running, which is a normal phenomenon.

4. Avoid setting the temperature switch below 5°C to prevent the evaporator from freezing (except for low-temperature refrigerators).

5. In order to ensure the cooling effect and maintain the best condition, please clean the condenser, evaporator and water filter regularly.

Note: If there is a fault alarm, please shut down immediately, or notify the maintenance personnel to deal with it in time.

6. Keep the cooling tower clean and clean it regularly. There should be no sundries and other obstacles in the cooling tower.
